The Swiss ski area Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein is located directly on the inner Heinzenberg. The ski slopes and runs extend at an altitude of 1580 m to 2180 m ü. NN. The high altitude combined with modern snow cannons ensure that snow is guaranteed and thus skiing fun is guaranteed on the slopes of Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein. A ski and winter holiday in Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein on the inner Heinzenberg opens up countless opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts to engage in sporting activities in the snow. But enjoyment and relaxation are not neglected either with the wellness and leisure facilities on offer.
Ski/Snowboard
The Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein ski area enjoys the reputation of being a sunny ski area. The rock-free and therefore quite sunny ski area has 25 prepared and varied ski slopes. Skiers and snowboarders hardly have to bother with waiting times at the lifts in Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein, as the six lifts distribute the alpine skiing and snowboarding guests well. A special experience on skis is the valley run from Oberurmein down to Masein/Thusis, which is prepared anew every day. The little piste fleas, on the other hand, are in very good hands in the Kinderland in the valley of Oberurmein. The children's practice area of the Snow Factory snow sports school is equipped with a magic carpet and a children's ski lift, where they can quickly learn their first turns on skis under the guidance of a children's ski instructor.Nordic/Winter hiking
There are also plenty of winter sports opportunities away from the ski slopes of the Thusis-Tschappina-Urmein ski area. Tobogganing fans, for example, get their money's worth on the various toboggan runs in the Viamala region. Likewise, an extensive network of cross-country ski trails and varied skating routes in the valley are waiting to be tackled by cross-country skiers and skaters. Nature lovers and pleasure hikers will find relaxation on the designated winter hiking trails, which lead through a winter landscape worth seeing.Public transport
